3-bedroom shared house, Martina Street

We have a 3 Bedroom House with 1 furnished room for rent. We normally only rent one and we live in the other as a couple and use the third for occasional visitors.

Sadly we are losing a lovely Philippine international student. We have hosted people of different ages from the Philippines, Germany, Indonesia, Timor Leste, China, Peru and England over the last ten years. We travel a bit so often you have the house to yourself.

There is a one male 45 years living in the house myself (Jason) who works with the Government. My partner Mica 40 years is a Nurse Educator with NT Health, and originally from Aklan, Philippines. We are Quiet, non smoking, and occasional drinkers.

We are seeking someone to rent one room. Shared Bathroom, you can set up own outside kitchen or share our kitchen. Fast 250-50 unlimited internet, bedroom, lovely gardens and multiple break outside spaces to enjoy the gardens,

We are easy walking distance to the main bus station and biggest mall in Darwin.
The house is clean and tidy. Common sense use of power and household chores etc requested, otherwise very flexible.

Your room is already set up to study with bed, linen, tv, cromecaster and alexa amazon.

We ask that you ask if you have visitors, we will do the same for you as well as a courtesy.

Walk to the bus stop/shopping centre in five minutes etc. No need to always be planning your travel and 24 hour shop access is walking distance.

We prefer a working or studying person, any sex/age, we are hoping for a CDU student or hospital worker. Flexible on stay duration as well. Bond required and personal reference info is appreciated. If you work at the hospital/study or work at Charles Darwin Uni, etc this is a perfect location for walking or biking.

We are flexible on your needs as it’s just the two of us at the house. It’s very safe and secure. We are non-smokers but are happy for you to smoke outside.

We have a two little dog called Tyson Fury and Indy Storm who are pedigree English Toy Terriers. If you can help us by feeding them while we are away that would be a huge help to us.

Tyson Fury was attacked in 2024 so uses a ‘dog wheel chariot’. Mica and I have to toilet him twice a day in the bathroom.

We ask you clean your room, and clean after yourself in the kitchen and bathroom. We respect your privacy and try to help you have a great stay in Darwin.

We ask that you supply your own things for cooking and toiletries. Etc. We can help a bit if you’re just starting out though or new to Australia.

We love having international students stay with us and we are very happy helping you as needed to settle into lovely Darwin. 🙏😀.
